As a result of this conversation, it was agreed that Mary and I would move over to Penny's home. Penny would let her children's maid go visit her family for a couple of months. While she was gone, Mary and I would live in the house. I would be the children's maid, and be subject to Penny's instruction at all times. I would be wearing nothing but feminine attire.

Penny and Mary decided for me. I couldn't believe that they didn't seem to care what my feelings were or weather I really wanted to dress as a girl for our vacation. As plans progressed, I became more concerned about the sanity of what we were planning. What if someone at work saw me? What would all this training do to me? It all seemed so unnecessary.

About a month later, with a lots of reservation, Mary and I moved over to Penny's house. Unceremoniously I was installed in the children's room, in place of Annie, the children's nurse maid, who left to visit her family.

It was then that I realized the significance of what they planned. Penny was to ready me for living as a woman. If she was successful, I would be able to walk around anywhere---the world would see me as a female. I began to see how far they planned on taking me. The momentous nature of their objective; I would: walk, talk, act, and maybe even think like a woman.

For instance, my new role of children's nurse maid. A woman's pursuit. I took care of Penny's two children, and wore my uniform dresses every day. They called me "Nana", short for nanny. Believe me, two young children who depend upon you for their every need is no picnic. I must have changed

"I was a man doing a woman's job. Surprisingly, I found it more rewarding than anything I'd ever done."
